The Denver Pioneers Instagram account announced on Monday that student tickets to the Battle on Blake will be sold from January 12-14. Tickets will be available for purchase by students starting at 10 AM Tuesday.
Tickets will cost $10 with a valid student ID and a limited amount will be available each day they are on sale. DU’s student section will be behind the net along the 1st base line of Coors Field.
The tickets will be available to students on a first come, first served basis, so it would behoove all students looking for a ticket to get in line as quickly as possible on each day.

The more expensive the tickets, the better the view of the ice will be. There will be spots in the stadium with very difficult views, but all the action will likely be simulcasted on the jumbotron beyond the left-field wall.

I got my 6 tix today. I was only looking for tickets in the lower zones (i.e., good seats), and it appeared that some of those lower sections had only single seats left. So it looks like ticket sales have been brisk, at least in some parts of the stadium. Looking forward to it, it will be a blast. Not sure what they are expecting for attendance at this event, 10K, 20K, 25K? I’ll guess 22K, someone give me a cookie if I’m right.
DU and CC drew 16,000 to the old McNichols Arena in 1995 for the final of the Denver Cup. This upcoming outdoor game should beat that record, with somewhere between 20-25k in the house. If the weather is good, maybe more.
