Wednesday afternoon, a disoriented man was found wandering on the tarmac at Tampa International Airport. Investigating authorities found that the man had been a stowaway on a commercial aircraft originating from Grand Forks, North Dakota. The man was immediately taken into custody.
Airlines have been instructed to conduct visual inspections of wheel wells on all Florida-bound flights from Grand Forks to Florida over the next week.
The stowaway, Ned Cremmins from Rugby, North Dakota said he was a hockey fan and was travelling to Tampa for the Frozen Four.
When asked how he survived -62 degrees wearing nothing but a T-shirt, he said, “Have you ever been to Grand Forks in January?”
We should all just be glad that Mr. Cremmins is ok.
