DU clears the glidepath for pregame Chicago reception & watch party

In case you missed it, there was an email issued by the DU box office with the following new detail on ticket pick-up for DU Frozen Four ticket orders:

Ticket Pick-up

One thorny issue for DU ticket holders that purchased Frozen Four tickets through DU were the instructions to pick up their tickets at United Center Will-Call. Will-call pickup could potentially interfere with the DU Reception at Park Tavern on Thursday from 6:30-8:30 as fans would have to be at the stadium early to secure their tickets.

DU is now giving Pioneer fans three options to pick-up their tickets:

Denver Pick-up

If you are a Denver resident, you can pick up your ticket packages locally on Monday from 9-5 at the Magness ticket office.

Hotel Pick-up

Then, tickets will be sent to Chicago and there will be a lobby pick-up point at the Sheraton Grand Hotel (301 E North Water St, Chicago, IL 60611) on Wednesday from 4:00 – 7:00.

Will-Call

If not picked up by that time, tickets will be at the United Center (1901 W. Madison St. Chicago, IL 60612). DU Tickets will be dropped off at the United Center will-call on Thursday, April 6th at 3:00 pm. The box office is located on Wood Street in the Atrium next to Gate 4. So, fans can get their tickets before the reception starts  – Park Tavern is a short walk from the United Center.

Ticket Details:

▪          The tickets you have purchased are all-session tickets, includes tickets to both semifinal games and the championship game, regardless of whether Denver advances.

▪          Your ticket envelope will have both the semifinal and championship tickets inside.

▪          Re-entry is not permitted once patrons have exited the United Center.

This frees up people attending the DU Alumni event at Park Tavern to enjoy themselves at the DU Reception without having to rush over to the will-call window before the game next Thursday night.
