Rain Can’t Dampen Hockey Campout Spirit

Torrential rains hit the Denver campus Friday night, but it did not wash away the enthusiasm students have for DU’s annual hockey campout.  On the eve of Denver hockey’s first exhibition against UNLV (6:00 pm MT, Magness Arena), Denver Hockey put on a final Friday night scrimmage for the campers before the students settled in for a soggy evening of camping. Early Saturday morning events featured student raffles and a visit from defending national championship head coach David Carle with donuts and coffee, of course.

Students were greeted by blue skies Saturday morning.
