#4 DU women’s lax (1-0) opened their season Friday afternoon at Peter Barton Stadium. DU raced out to a 5-0 lead in the first quarter, backed by their Pink Defense. Denver owned a 10-4 lead at the midway break. Louisville outscored DU 4-1 in the third quarter to tighten the game but DU duplicated the 5-0 first quarter score in the final quarter to finish off the Cardinals.
