WATCH: Jim Montgomery talks UMD sweep, playing without Troy Terry during Olympics

The #4 University of Denver Pioneers completed the regular season sweep of the #9 University of Minnesota Duluth last night with a close 4-3 victory. It was Denver’s fifth straight home victory and they haven’t lost since a 3-2 loss at Miami (OH). The Pioneers are starting to hit their second-half stride as the stretch run approaches and they’re well-positioned to make a deep postseason run.

DU head coach Jim Montgomery was pleased with his team’s effort throughout the weekend and was particularly impressed with Troy Terry’s final two performances before leaving for the Olympics in South Korea. Watch Montgomery’s postgame conversation from last night below:
