This year, LetsGoDU is celebrating DU’s founding sport, baseball. After 130 years, the school dropped the sport in 1997. These vintage baseball jerseys are offered exclusively by LetsGoDU, with all profits going to DU hockey ($25 per jersey). These jerseys are perfect as casual wear with high-quality manufacturing and detail.
Buyers can personalize the jerseys with a name on the back, along with a number on the front and back at no additional cost. The raised twill lettering and patches give the jersey an authentic feel. Sizes come in adult and youth sizes.
A patch on the left shoulder commemorates the 130 years DU played baseball, beginning in 1867. A Colorado patch on the right shoulder features the Colorado flag logo and Boone and Bonnie.
A subtle red rose over the heart pays homage to head coach Jack Rose and, of course, the Denver Rose. Jack Rose coached DU baseball for 36 years and racked up an astounding 785 wins during his tenure. He hung up his jersey for the final time in 1997 and ranked fifth on the NCAA’s Division II list of winningest coaches in history. Rose passed away in 2018.
