DU men’s basketball (0-2) went on the road Saturday seeking their first win of the young season against UC Riverside. It was a tale of two halves. Denver led 29-22 at halftime but 3-point shooting doomed the Pioneers in the final 20 minutes. Denver went 1 for 9 from beyond the arc and UCR heated up the nets, going 6 of 15 (40%) to sink DU. Denver committed 16 turnovers to a miserly 7 for the Highlanders.
