Tanner Jaillet wins Mike Richter Award, named college hockey’s best goaltender

CHICAGO – After an outstanding junior season, one that will end tomorrow night in the National Championship Game, University of Denver goalie Tanner Jaillet has been named the 2017 recipient of the Mike Richter Award, given annually to the country’s best goaltender. American Hero Troy Terry’s hat trick powers Denver to second straight Frozen Four

For the second straight year, the top-ranked University of Denver Pioneers are going to the Frozen Four.

Troy Terry notched a hat trick, Jarid Lukosevicius tallied two more goals, and Tanner Jaillet stopped 24 shots against the Penn State Nittany Lions in the Midwest Regional Final at the US Bank Center in Cincinnati to earn Denver a trip to Chicago in two weeks.
