If it was a prize fight, officials would have thrown the towel in after the first round. Denver forged an 8-stroke lead on second place Oral Roberts after Day 1. Denver added another 13 strokes to their advantage on Day 2. Denver bettered the next best team, South Dakota State, in the third and final round by 18 strokes. After the smoke cleared, five Denver golfers were in the top seven and DU had a 42-stroke lead on second place Oral Roberts. The victory sends yet another Denver Athletics squad into the NCAA tournament.

DU junior Clara Gestsdottir shot a low-score 68 on day 3 to medal with a 211. DU junior Emma Bryant was one stroke back. Teammate grad student Anna Zanusso, one of DU’s most distinguished athletes in her final season, finished two strokes back. Grad student A. Catherine Krekling exited nine back while senior Katarina Drocarova finished in seventh at 222.
