DU women’s lacrosse defeated Georgetown 12-4 to win the BIG EAST Tournament at Peter Barton Lacrosse Stadium. Georgetown Dominates DU Men’s Lacrosse in Bad Big East Defeat
It was a tough day for #13 Denver men’s lacrosse as the #14 Georgetown Hoyas handed the Pioneers a 17-5 defeat to open Big East conference play. It was the worst defeat since February of 2009, when North Carolina defeated DU 20-7.

Duke holds off DU lacrosse in tight 8-7 contest
#14 Denver men’s lacrosse (4-4) played a 11 am MT game today against #6 Duke (8-0) at Koskinen Stadium in Durham, North Carolina. The game was decided in the second quarter when Duke’s offense came alive with seven unanswered goals. The Blue Devils won a tight game at 8-7. DU charges past Stetson Hatters
#20 Denver women’s lacrosse (8-1) was under the lights at Peter Barton Stadium on Friday night against the Stetson Hatters (0-8) and the Pioneers came away with a lopsided 21-4 victory. It was 67 degrees to start the game with sunny skies and the game was never in question. It was a big night for Junior Olivia Ripple who surpassed 100 career goals with five goals on the night.
BYU slips by DU Men’s Tennis, 4-3
BYU slipped by the Denver men’s tennis team 4-3 at Denver Tennis Park on Friday, February 27. It was a very close match, and it came down to the #5 singles match to decide the day. DU’s Connor Robb-Wilcox won the first set at 6-2, but then BYU’s Caden Hasler took the tight second set at 7-5, and Hasler then taking the third set at 6-4.
