Denver had their chances in overtime but a beautiful tip-in by St. Cloud State’s Ryan Poehling at 2:27 of OT sealed the Pioneers fate. Denver was outworked and outshot – 43-26. Evan Cowley replaced Tanner Jaillet at the end of the 2nd period but St. Cloud continued to control the tempo and earned the win with a dominant performance.
