WATCH: Jim Montgomery talks fourth straight home shutout, Tanner Jaillet’s “Wow” factor

The #4 University of Denver Pioneers shut out the #9 University of Minnesota Duluth Bulldogs 1-0 last night. It was DU goaltender Tanner Jaillet’s sixth shutout of the year and his fourth straight at home. After the game, DU head coach Jim Montgomery struggled to come up with the words to describe his goaltender’s performance before choosing to go with “He’s just…it’s wow.”

Montgomery did go into more detail on Jaillet’s sterling performance and other aspects of his team’s shutout. He mentioned the need to take shots before letting the opposing goaltender get set and square to the puck. Watch his postgame conversation below:
