The #4 University of Denver Pioneers downed the unranked and last-place Miami University RedHawks by a score of 6-3. Denver dominated most of the game, but Miami pulled within one goal late in the third. Denver responded and put the game out of reach with two goals in the last couple of minutes. Overall, it was a good game for the Pios and head coach Jim Montgomery was pleased with his team’s effort.
