  1. K-State is favored by 18.5 or 19 points, according to most sports books and I think that’s being a little bit optimistic for DU.

If DU had Miller-Stewart in the middle to match-up with Wade, I think DU could keep the game within 15 points, but alas, without him, DU is likely to lose by 20 or more as they are going to pound the Pios inside and DU will not have an experienced answer for that.

It’s been a while since DU has faced a ranked team, and it would be awesome for DU to be competitive, but facing a K-State team with a dominant national level big man is more than we can likely handle. I expect about 10,000 fans tonight at Bramlage, so this will be a good experience for DU to see what big time D-I basketball is like…

Bad: DU loses by more than 25

    Likely: DU loses by 20-25

Good: DU loses by less than 20.

Great: DU loses by less than 15.

Incredible: DU loses by less than 10.

    Monumental: DU upsets K-State.

  2. If the Pioneers can eliminate turnovers and shoot better, they can stay in this game. Down by 3 at half.

  3. 15 minutes to go – great venue here in Manhattan, KS.. UNO fans here with women’s hoops vs K-State earlier.

  4. Great venue. 15 minutes until the tip. UNO fans here – their women’s hoops fell to KSU earlier.

  5. Pios overmatched by K-States size and athleticism, but are just 5 down with 350 left in the first half. Rosga and Harrell are holding DU in the game for now with pure grit.

  6. Pios were down by 10 but had a 7-0 run to cut K-State’s lead to 3 at the half, 31-28. Proud of the Pios for hanging tough so far…

  7. Pioneers trail by 3 at half in Manhattan, KS. If the Pioneers can limit their turnovers and improve their shots, they can stay in this game.

  8. Harrell has 12 and Rosga 10 points to lead Pios at halftime. Those guys have to be great to keep DU in the game.

  9. Wow!! We are actually hanging with them? I’m not able to watch the game due to work but am following along on Twitter.

  10. Fantastic road performance by a solid and athletic DU team playing without it’s big man, Tory Miller-Stewart. Very proud of the way DU played, giving K-state all they wanted down to the last minute.
