It was a tough, physical match in the first half. At 32:57, after only one shot on goal by DU, Ian Smith and Lucas Fisher combined to feed Sam Bassett who guided the ball into the net with his left foot to make it 1-0 DU. The teams played even-up until the halftime break. DU outshot the Bluejays 3-1 in the half.

Awesome!
Hopefully they can keep the success going!
That was a great performance in a pretty hostile road atmosphere of nearly 4,000 fans cheering against them as the centrepiece of their “Soccerfest” celebration.
Creighton also has one of the best college soccer stadiums in the country.
Now, it’s on to UCLA, another top 10 opponent. It’s been a fantastic first five road games for DU, and lets hope they get lots of rest on this weekend before Monday night’s game in Westwood.
