Have to wonder who Gwozdecky is rooting for today. He’s a UW guy, was ousted at DU but he’s a very big part of the reason David Carle is where he is today. Gwoz is a smart coach – he knows who the better team is. He’s all Denver today.
DU admin did Gwoz dirty. He’s a class act, a great coach and not forgotten. His arrival marked the beginning of a return to the program’s former glory that’s continues today.
Gwozdecky has moved on and still coaching. Several years ago he was inducted into DU’s Athletic Hall of Fame and seems on good terms with DU. He was a great coach and revived the program!
