LetsGoDU SUPER-POLL™ Votes DU #1 for the 22nd Consecutive Season

LetsGoDU released its 2026-2027  22nd annual SUPER-POLL™. The poll projects college hockey’s Top 10 teams. The top four teams will advance to the Frozen Four in Washington, DC on April 8th-10th, 2027. While the SUPER-POLL™ employs in-depth statistical analysis, the newly configured Goddard Research & Polling Division developed a unique electoral college model this season, comprised of college hockey delegates who cast their votes via Dominion Voting Systems. As custom would allow, Denver made the top slot and Colorado College dropped to the cellar. Denver was a landslide first-place selection, emerging with all 538 electoral votes.

Here is the projected finish according to the final audited and certified results with a nice political slant, to fit with DC’s Frozen Four theme…which we’re sure won’t anger anyone:

10. Minnesota Duluth makes noise early with the Plante brothers. Unlike the Kennedys, the Bush family, and the Rockefellers, the powerhouse trio faded as fast as Wheatus after releasing the song Teenage Dirtbag.

9. Boston College takes the ‘L’ in Regional play as the second East Wing gets demolished in a year.

8. Western Michigan makes the Top 10. However, in postseason play, the Broncos are as tight as Gretchen Whitmer’s Covid-19 policies. The Broncos go dancing, but it is a short one.

7. Quinnipiac’s defensive core is as thin as the lining of the Lincoln Reflecting Pool. The Bobcats pay the price with an early primary exit.

6. Minnesota Fauci pleaded the Fifth as many times as the Minnesota Gophers have lost in the Frozen Four. While the Gophers grab early voter attention, wins—not polls—are what truly matter in the nation’s capital.

5. Michigan State’s NHL-Draft-pick-heavy roster looks to be as loaded as the surging Trump family investment portfolio. After debate and an executive session, it was determined the Spartans have too many chefs in the kitchen to cook at the Capital Center inauguration.

4. North Dakota is the Marjorie Taylor Greene of college hockey. Full of conspiracy theories and self-delusion, their paranoia becomes warranted when they are easily dispatched in the Frozen Four semifinals.

3. While Wisconsin has the edge on early returns, its Deja Vu all over again. Denver wins the recount as DU’s goaltender, Johnny Hicks, leads Denver to a stunning electoral sweep.

2. Big Blue’s legal team is as busy as Lauren Boebert’s, both distracted by legal hurdles and innuendo. Look for Michigan to be skating on thin ice at the Capital Center as Denver flips the ballot from maize blue to crimson and gold, late.

1. Michigan plays Dewey to Denver’s Truman in the Frozen Four finale. With a coach nicknamed ‘D.C.’, Denver is ideally suited to carve its name into the college hockey history books with title #12.

65. After late-night reconciliation, delegates placed Colorado College last in the SUPER-POLL™. The Tigers’ super-PAC money dried up, despite an influx of cash from their new Toyota uniform patches. The year 1957 will remain their only off-year election win.
