Fans will get to personally watch Rodney Billups new  up-tempo Denver squad with four of the Pioneers first five conference games at Magness Arena. DU’s first road tilt is against defending regular season league champion, IPFW. Games 6 & 7 are on the road against regional rival UNO and IUPUI. Then, the Pios return to Denver to tangle with South Dakota State, the defending Summit League Tournament Champions in a replay of last year’s conference semifinal thriller. The Pios hit a challenging patch with four out of their next five games on the road – with a tough veteran IPFW squad offering the sole opposition in Magness during this stretch. Denver finishes with two out of three games at home and a finale against South Dakota State at Magness

  1. Interesting how DU doesn’t have any road game pairs. In other words, no 2-game Indiana or Dakota swing, etc. The only Thu-Sat pair is Omaha and IUPUI, which has never been paired together as a road trip.
