Quiet Weekend in Review

Photo: DU’s campus was quiet with only one home match – women’s volleyball.

Women’s Volleyball

DU women’s volleyball (19-6, 11-2 Summit) faced Oral Roberts at Hamilton Gym. ORU had dumped the Pioneers 3-2 a month earlier in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Hamilton Gym had a good crowd and the DU pep band added to the environment as the Pioneers were never threatened in a 3-0 pay-back victory.

Next match: Tuesday, November 8th at Hamilton Gym @ 7:00PM vs. Omaha. The Pioneers can move to 20 wins with their final regular season match at home.

Men’s Soccer

Omaha defeated Oral Roberts  3-1 on Saturday night. The 2-goal differential gave UNO the tiebreaker to earn the first seed for the Summit League championships in Denver, starting next Thursday.
