While DU’s hockey and men’s lacrosse teams were busy dispatching their opponents in Denver this weekend, DU’s women’s tennis team traveled to Montgomery, Alabama to compete in the annual Blue Gray National Tennis Classic. They came away with a 4-3 win over Texas and it was valuable experience playing against some of the top teams in the country.
Jason Evans of the Georgia chapter of the DU alumni association was in attendance this weekend and reported on the women’s performance. Watch his report below:
The women’s tennis team is sitting in good position to compete in the Summit League. Big thanks to Jason Evans for making the trip to Alabama to cover the tournament for LetsGoDU!!
