DU’s incredible 2016-2017 run in athletics continues with lacrosse.
After throttling Notre Dame, 16-4, the Pioneers advance to the NCAA lacrosse semifinals against #1 seed Maryland on Saturday at 12:30 pm MT @ Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, MA. The winner will advance on Monday, May 29th to face the winner of the Towson – Ohio State game @ 11:00 MT. You can purchase Tailgate Passes ($15/ea) separately through the DU Alumni Office. This will include food and non-alcoholic drinks. You can, however, bring your own cooler and/or drinks to the tailgate.
There will be a reserved DU section at the game. You can purchase your Ticket Packages from the Denver ticket office to reserve seats in the DU allotted section. Only all-session (semifinal and finals) tickets will be sold through the DU ticket allotment. Tickets for NCAA finals will be allotted in the following order; Pioneer Movement donors (5/22, 9AM), season ticket holders (5/23, 9AM) then general public *subject to availability (5/24, 9AM). As a reminder, the NCAA allocates ticket allotments by-school – not DU. Seats can be secured through Ticketmaster as well.
This is a great chance for our DU alums, friends and parents in the Northeast to watch the Pioneers battle for their second lacrosse national championship. Obviously, there is bound to be a large Maryland contingent there so the Denver lacrosse needs our support.
There are also plans for Watch Parties around the nation. In Denver, The Pioneer Bar has already been reserved for Saturday.
