Cheaters Bail After LetsGoDU Article
The pressure on Louisville, following a LetsGoDU article published earlier this week, has led them to announce that they have ‘volunteered’ to skip post season play this season, according to the New York Times.

ND Budget Shortfall Puts Logo at Risk
The Grand Forks Herald posted an article on the State’s budget shortfall with the collapse of oil prices. One professor is calling for a halt to Fighting Hawk logo development, at a cost savings of $49,500. The University of North Dakota is being asked to take $5 million dollars out of their operating budget.

Students Attendence in Decline
Traditional approaches to drawing students to sporting events is no longer working. This trend is neither unique nor exclusive to the University of Denver.
The Wall Street Journal conducted a study on the declining student attendance, mainly targeting football, but relevant to other sports as well. Mackey Lifts Up Pioneers to Avoid a Home Beat Down
The IUPUI (11-14) Jaguars rolled into Magness Arena Thursday night in a 3-way tie for first place in the Summit and pummeled DU (12-11) the first 30 minutes of play.
No sense giving the play-by-play of the first half. Denver played one of their most forgettable twenty minutes in recent history shooting 37% from the floor, committing 9 turnovers, giving up 20 rebounds, and going 0-7 from three point land to make this, perhaps, the most inept half of basketball ever seen in Joe Scott’s coaching tenure at DU. Winter Storm follows Lacrosse Scrimmage
Following a perfect Saturday for Lacrosse, a winter storm roared into Denver. No need to worry – the next home game, The Faceoff Classic, is not until February 27th. The DU women start home play on Friday, February 12th against Colorado. It might be 70 and sunny by then.

The U is feeling the heat. While generations of Minnesota kids could only dream of wearing the iconic maroon and gold “M” jersey, on the ice the Gophers are just another Minnesota college hockey program.
